At S.i. Systèmes, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to join our team and help us mature our data governance framework with capital markets expertise in the financial industry.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of data governance principles and practices, particularly in the context of capital markets and financial services operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of relevant regulations, such as BCBS 239, CCAR, GDPR, and PIPA, and experience in implementing data governance frameworks and architectures.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the development of a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide capital markets expertise to develop and maintain data governance policies and practices specific to this domain.
  • Design, implement, and evolve a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, procedures, and metrics.
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise data model that aligns with business needs and regulatory requirements within the financial services sector.
  • Ensure alignment of data governance architecture with the overall enterprise architecture to meet data quality, security, and compliance objectives.
  • Define and implement key data governance processes, including data quality management, metadata management, data lineage, and data access control.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in data governance, with a strong focus on capital markets and financial services operations.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant regulations, such as BCBS 239, CCAR, GDPR, and PIPA.
  • Experience in implementing data governance frameworks and architectures.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze business processes, identify data requirements, and translate them into data governance solutions.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
