The successful candidate for this 1-month contract opportunity as an Assistant Controller will be responsible for supporting key financial operations, including:
- Full-cycle accounting assistance, including month-end close processes
- Management and reconciliation of sub-ledgers for accuracy and completeness
- Support for financial reporting, journal entries, and financial statements preparation
- Variance analysis and account reconciliations assistance
- Compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Collaboration with the Controller to streamline financial processes
- Support for ad hoc financial projects or audits
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess senior accountant-level experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is also essential. Prior experience with Visual Manufacturing software is a plus but not mandatory. Additionally, the candidate must be available to start immediately and commit to the full one-month contract.
