About the Role:

This is a critical leadership position that requires a strong understanding of airport operations, baggage handling, and customer service. As an Airport Operations Manager - Baggage, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of baggage through the airport. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve operational issues, and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and airport performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of baggage handlers and supervisors to ensure the efficient movement of baggage through the airport.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and airport performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g. business, operations management, logistics).
  • 3-5 years of experience in airport operations, baggage handling, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
