About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Little Lions Childcare & Preschool Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our childcare program and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education
    • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
    • Collaborate with early childhood educators to implement educational programs and activities.
  • Childcare Support
    • Assist with daily housekeeping and cooking duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Help maintain daycare equipment and supplies.
  • Childcare Activities
    • Plan and lead engaging activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
    • Encourage children to express their creativity through art, music, and play.
  • Record Keeping and Communication
    • Assist with record keeping and reporting on children's progress.
    • Communicate with parents, guardians, and supervisors to share observations and updates.
  • Environment and Safety
    • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
    • Plan and organize activities that promote physical activity and well-being.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Work Environment
    • Non-smoking environment.
    • Air-conditioned facility.
