About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker to join our team at Rhea Food Services Limited. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our café.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment.
    • Operate kitchen equipment, including conventional ovens, deep fryers, and food dispensers.
    • Prepare and package take-out food and beverages.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
    • Take customers' orders and operate an electronic cash register.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities. The position requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
