Job Title: Graphic Designer

Baycrest is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for designing and developing visual communications that support the objectives of our departments and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce a wide range of visual communications, including reports, newsletters, invitations, programs, proposals, videos, animations, email and social graphics, direct mail, signage, logos, and branding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy across different channels and platforms.
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss design requirements and work independently to bring projects to fruition.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising, and technologies, including AI, to ensure innovative designs are developed while maintaining brand integrity and uniformity.
  • Ensure all materials adhere to Baycrest's graphics standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a mid-senior level graphic design role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, breadth of projects, and execution of design.
  • Expert-level knowledge and use of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other relevant design tools.
  • Agency experience required or demonstrated experience serving multiple clients across industry verticals.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the multimedia production process, including print, digital, photography, illustration, and animation.
  • Knowledge of current trends, technologies, and platforms, including AI in workflows.
