Cabinetmaker - Craftsmanship Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at ESSKAY HOMES INC. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden products, including cabinets, built-in units, and other custom furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, and drawings to create custom wooden products, including cabinets, built-in units, and other furniture pieces.
- Woodworking Expertise: Trim joints, fit parts and subassemblies together, and reinforce joints to create high-quality wooden products.
- Finishing Touches: Sand wooden surfaces, apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other craftsmen and tradespeople to complete projects and meet deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in woodworking or a related field.
- Work Environment: Industrial, residential, and commercial settings.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
