Cabinetmaker - Craftsmanship Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at ESSKAY HOMES INC. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden products, including cabinets, built-in units, and other custom furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, and drawings to create custom wooden products, including cabinets, built-in units, and other furniture pieces.
- Woodworking: Trim joints, fit parts and subassemblies together, and reinforce joints to create high-quality wooden products.
- Finishing: Sand wooden surfaces, apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in woodworking or a related field.
- Work Setting: Industrial, residential, and commercial settings.
- Transportation: Own transportation and own vehicle.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, organized, team player, and punctual.
- Free Parking: Free parking available on site.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
