Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Accounts Payable to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and providing guidance to AP clerks.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee AP clerks' work, performing final review and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide oversight on controls, system efficiencies, and payable processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Review processes and procedures, providing recommendations for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Assist with payment schedules, forecasting, and ensuring accurate tax application.
- Provide support, mentoring, and training for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, HR, and IT, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and management experience, with a strong background in accounts payable.
- Experience in Canadian financial reporting and taxation.
- Working experience with complex ERP systems, such as SAP or MS Dynamics365.
- Superior oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of the business environment.
