Job Title: Pipeline Construction Superintendent

Arnett & Burgess Energy Services is seeking a highly experienced Pipeline Construction Superintendent to lead our construction projects in Mainland British Columbia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused individual to oversee the daily construction activities and field personnel on our pipeline projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality management systems.
  • Lead and motivate field crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and implement effective construction execution strategies to ensure flawless project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Manager to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role on pipeline construction projects.
  • Related diploma or degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of project success, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills using MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong knowledge of auger bores, pipeline drilling, and muskeg experience an asset.
