Hatch is a leading global engineering and infrastructure company that is passionate about creating a better world through positive change. We are seeking a talented Rail Engineering Student to join our dynamic Rail team in Calgary, AB.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in the field of rail engineering and contribute to complex projects in Western Canada. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work on problems and gain experience relevant to your field of study in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality drawings from concept to detailed design
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to develop functional designs in accordance with regulations, laws, and design standards
  • Maintain high-quality standards through quality control processes

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma at an accredited University or College
  • Knowledge of current technical engineering codes and practices
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
