Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Operations Specialist to join our team at Reesink Canada Holdings. As an Equipment Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, equipment attachments, and accessories for delivery to sales staff, customers, or service shops. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading equipment for customer and vendor shipments, securing loaded equipment per company procedure, and inspecting in transit if necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Preparation and Delivery: Prepare equipment, equipment attachments, and accessories for delivery to sales staff, customers, or service shops.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload equipment for customer and vendor shipments.
  • Equipment Security: Secure loaded equipment per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning and servicing of vehicles and equipment.
  • Minor Repairs and Painting: Assist with minor repairs and the painting of equipment.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and professional appearance, power wash equipment before and after service, and keep the workstation clean and stocked with service tags and fuel.
  • Inventory Management: Receive new orders and equipment and ensure it is received in inventory, assist in equipment setup as per customer order, and maintain organized equipment inventory staging areas.
  • Documentation: Maintain, create, and file Bills of lading for all shipments received and leaving.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Load and secure parts, equipment, and/or accessories for delivery, unload equipment and accessories, assist with other facility operation duties as needed, and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience preferred (equipment, automotive, industrial, etc.).
  • Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in loading/unloading equipment & properly securing loads for transport, understand and remember all written and verbal instructions, carry out instructions accurately, work independently of supervision on assigned tasks, move between projects as scheduling requires, communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing, and experience using computers and Microsoft applications.
  • Physical Demands: Proper lifting of up to 50 pounds unassisted to waist level, must have a Driver License Class 3, with Air brake, sporadic bending at the waist 10-90 degrees, ability to kneel and reach, working in these positions: crouched, kneeling, bent at the waist, etc., forward reach of up to 16-20 inches, and full range of motion for looking ahead to each side and to the rear when operating a vehicle.
