About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Bella Coola General Hospital. As a Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and complex tests, utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments, within a designated laboratory area.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including quality control and maintenance of instruments.
- Collect and process patient specimens, and validate and report test results.
- Participate in departmental training programs and stay up-to-date with new and existing test procedures.
