About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner who can provide comprehensive assessments, diagnose diseases, and develop treatment plans for patients. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and recent relevant clinical nursing experience. A strong background in primary health care and ability to work independently and interdependently are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnose diseases, and develop treatment plans for patients;
  • Initiate treatment, including healthcare management and therapeutic interventions, and prescribe medications as appropriate;
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to identify and assess trends and patterns that impact patient care;
  • Develop and implement population- and evidence-based strategies to improve health outcomes;
  • Participate in peer review and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and services.
