About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Banchan Korean Bistro. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including Korean and international cuisine
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective service
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Reliability and punctuality
