About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Producer to join our team at Akash Broadcasting Inc. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead a Team

As a Radio Producer, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful execution of our production goals.

Plan and Coordinate Production

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production of musical recordings, including selecting and booking talent, scheduling rehearsals and recording sessions, and ensuring that all production elements are completed on time and within budget.

Direct Musicians and Singers

As a Radio Producer, you will be responsible for directing musicians and singers during rehearsals and recording sessions, ensuring that they are performing at their best and that the final product meets our high standards.

Manage Production Logistics

You will be responsible for managing the logistics of production, including coordinating with other departments, such as engineering and marketing, to ensure that all aspects of production are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

A college or CEGEP diploma is required for this role.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a related field is required, with a strong background in music production and team leadership.

Language

Fluency in English is required for this role.

Work Hours

40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
