About the Role:
We are seeking an Insurance Advisor to join our Contact Centre team. As an Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for proactively meeting customers' needs in a high-volume contact center environment. Your primary goal will be to provide excellent customer service while optimizing sales opportunities in each call.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming call queues and maintain low wait times
- Answer customer inquiries, striving for one-touch resolution
- Optimize sales opportunities in each call, prioritizing customers' needs
- Quickly access information from online databases to complete customer transactions
- Make outbound calls for customer policy renewals and account reviews
Requirements:
- Level 1 General Insurance License required, must obtain Level 2 License within 90 days (employer-paid and supported)
- Passionate about customer service
- 2-3 years in sales or customer service
- Professional experience building rapport with customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Call center experience
- Level 2 General Insurance License preferred (Level 1 required)
- Previous insurance experience
- Adept at retrieving customer data efficiently
- Recent post-secondary and/or vocational training
