Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Pet Care Specialist to join our team at Court Animal Hospital. This is a permanent full-time position requiring 30-40 hours of work per week.


About the Role:



  • This role involves providing top-notch care and support to animals undergoing treatment and surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • You will assist veterinarians before, during, and after surgeries, as well as administer treatments as prescribed by our medical team.
  • In addition to clinical duties, you may also be involved in laboratory research and provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals.
  • Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be crucial in this role.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in animal healthcare, working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements:



  • You must have an education level equivalent to secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field is required, with a strong understanding of animal behavior and handling.
  • You must be physically fit and able to lift 25 pounds, as well as work in a variety of settings, including clinic and hospital environments.
  • You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A valid criminal record check is a requirement for this position.
