At Panago Pizza, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic team

About the Role

This is a permanent position working approximately 35-40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary of $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have secondary (high) school graduation certificate and less than 7 months of work experience in the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes by hand to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies to meet customer demands.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as required.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain floors, walls, and other surfaces in a clean and polished state through regular sweeping, mopping, and washing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Less than 7 months of work experience in the food service industry.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
  • Reliability and punctuality to meet scheduled shifts and deadlines.
  • Able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
