Sienna Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living residences, with 81 properties across Canada. We offer care, support, services, and housing to seniors and their families, empowering our team members to help residents live the life they desire.
We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new campus of care in Brantford, featuring 160 long-term care beds and 147 retirement suites. This innovative home will set a new standard in senior living, blending exceptional care, culinary experiences, and engagement programs with modern amenities.
The successful candidate will lead the planning, development, and operations of this new home, overseeing every aspect of its opening. They will assemble a passionate team, create a vibrant community, and ensure a seamless transition as the first residents move in.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build a high-performing management team
- Lead an interdisciplinary team of managers, sales consultants, and front-line employees
- Plan, coordinate, direct, and monitor operational activities
- Develop short- and long-term operational plans for efficient operation
- Provide support and direction to achieve targeted occupancy, net operating income, and operating margin
- Respond to resident and family member concerns
- Ensure site-level compliance with provincial regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in retirement living, hospitality, or a similar sector
- Proven track record of effective team management, budget management, and operational excellence
- Experience in sales and marketing to drive occupancy and engage the community
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
