Job Summary

AAA Canada is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Avionics Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing avionics systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain avionics systems and equipment, including communication, navigation, flight control, and entertainment systems.
  • Repair and fabricate parts and components, including wire bundles and assemblies.
  • Perform system checks and inspections to ensure avionics systems are in compliance with industry and safety standards.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean work area and alert leadership team of any safety concerns.
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy and traceability of parts removed or installed on aircraft.
  • Perform other work as assigned and willing to work shift work.

Requirements

  • Hold a current AME "E" Transport Canada license.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Internet.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have experience with general aircraft wiring repair, fabrication, and installation.
  • Possess knowledge expected of an Aircraft Avionics and Electronics Technician on aircraft types handled by the Company.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to acquire a Transport Canada issued Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
