Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lawyer to join our team at Goodfellow & Schuettlaw. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Lawyer to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years' experience in private practice or a combination of private practice and in-house.

Key Responsibilities
  • Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
  • Experience in litigation (civil and construction litigation experience highly preferred)
  • Experience in other areas of law (real estate, wills and estates, and/or commercial)
  • Strong understanding of the law
  • Detail oriented
  • Exceptional drafting and writing skills
  • The highest ethical standards
  • Must be self-motivated with an ongoing interest in professional development
  • Ability to work with a client to develop creative solutions to problems
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
