Job Title: Parts Person

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Person to join our team at Jacknife Oilfield Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining an organized inventory of heavy-duty parts and equipment. Responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain an organized inventory of heavy-duty parts and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery of parts to our technicians and customers.
* Order parts and supplies, leveraging your knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle parts and components to ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery.
* Assist our technicians in identifying and locating the correct heavy-duty parts for repairs and maintenance, providing exceptional customer service and support.
* Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming parts, verifying accuracy and quality, and maintaining accurate records of all parts transactions.
* Monitor inventory levels and track parts usage to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring we always have the right parts on hand to meet customer demands.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
* Coordinate with suppliers for returns, warranty claims, and special orders, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Parts Person in a heavy-duty mechanic shop or similar role is preferred.
* In-depth knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle parts, components, and equipment, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a passion for providing exceptional support to our technicians and customers.
* Proficiency with inventory management software or a willingness to learn, with a strong understanding of data entry and record-keeping principles.
* High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving.
