Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Member Education & Committee Services to join our team at CSA Group. This is a critical role that will define, develop, and deliver educational/training programs and services for CSA members, standards development staff, and key external interest groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage member programs, including developing and implementing initiatives for member recognition, recruitment, and training.
  • Develop and deliver member/chair training modules, either in person or via Webex, including setting scheduled training sessions and providing ad-hoc training requirements.
  • Conduct research and analysis of standards development education needs for committee members, chairs, and staff, and develop content for communication materials on member training programs.
  • Provide support and guidance on member activities, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and recognition.
  • Liaise with committee members, external interests, and standards development staff to help coordinate and facilitate outreach and networking links.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate university degree in Education, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years or more experience in a business or not-for-profit environment, with specific evidence of management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with membership and association issues, facilitation practices, and public participation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CSA business rules and technical training around CSA electronic tools.
  • Experience in developing training and education programs, adult education programs, and education materials.
