Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Standards Development Educator to join our team at CSA Group. As a key member of our Standards Membership and Services Division, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and delivering educational/training programs and services for CSA members, standards development staff, and key external interest groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage member programs, including developing and implementing initiatives for member recognition, recruitment, and training.
  • Develop and deliver member/chair training modules, either in person or via Webex, including setting scheduled member training sessions and providing ad-hoc specific training requirements.
  • Conduct research and analysis of standards development education needs for committee members, chairs, and staff, and develop content for communication materials on Member Training programs.
  • Provide support and guidance on member activities, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and recognition.
  • Liaise with committee members, external interests, and standards development staff to help coordinate and facilitate outreach and networking links.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate University degree in Education, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years or more experience in a business or not-for-profit environment, with specific evidence of management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with membership and association issues, facilitation practices, and public participation techniques.
  • Knowledge of CSA business rules, standards electronic tools, and accreditation policies.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to self-manage, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Well-developed problem-solving, consensus-building, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong written, presentation, and group facilitation skills, with experience in training techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in French.
