Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Store #10. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales staff, including assigning duties and providing guidance and support as needed.
Manage Sales Floor OperationsOversee the daily operations of our sales floor, including managing inventory, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Lead by ExampleLead by example and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our store is a positive and productive work environment.
Manage Staff PerformanceConduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to our sales staff to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Manage Store OperationsOversee the day-to-day operations of our store, including managing inventory, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment
SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and staff
Physical DemandsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Working ConditionsThis is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our store is a positive and productive work environment.
