We are seeking a highly skilled Department Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Store #10. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train a team of sales associates to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Manage department inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
- Authorize payments, manage cash, and oversee payroll administration.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other department supervisors to achieve store-wide goals and objectives.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Our store operates in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Department Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with regular breaks to rest and recharge.
