We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Halal Meat Farms Inc. Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Develop specific plans to prioritize and organize tasks to accomplish the work, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Operational Logistics: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including planning and organizing operational logistics, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
- Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, and coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results.
- Materials and Supplies: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and proactive.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
- Work Setting: Wholesalers.
