Job Title: Inventory Control Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Halal Meat Farms Inc. in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of the organization, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. They will also be responsible for training workers in duties and policies, conducting performance reviews, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work and meet deadlines.
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, including training and development of staff.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operation.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including maintenance and repair work.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in inventory control or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train and develop staff.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Criminal record check and credit check required.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. They will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a warehouse setting.

Experience:

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory control or a related field.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

35 hours per week.
