About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. As a key member of our Pharmacy Team, you will provide essential pharmacy services, including interpreting medication orders, assessing therapeutic suitability, and ensuring medications are efficiently and accurately dispensed.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret medication orders and prescriptions, assessing therapeutic suitability
  • Ensure medications are efficiently and accurately dispensed, compounded, and labeled
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals and patients to resolve prescription issues and offer instructions on medication use
  • Participate in medication use evaluations, safety initiatives, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal, professional, and departmental standards
