About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our team in delivering high-quality mental health services to children, youth, and their families.

Company Overview: Child Development Institute is a leading provider of specialized mental health services for children and youth aged 0-18 and their families. Our services are guided by a strength-based approach that incorporates the family and community into the journey of supporting children and youth.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director who will lead our clinical operations, drive service excellence, and foster a professional and ethical environment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a clinical field, at least 7 years of progressive experience in the child and youth mental health sector, and 5 years of management experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the conceptualization and delivery of programs and services that align with our mission, values, policies, and procedures
  • Driving service excellence by supporting clinical operations, managing client concerns, and fostering a professional and ethical environment
  • Collaborating with Clinical Managers, contributing to continuous quality improvement, and playing a key role in strategic planning, staff development, and operational management within the People Manager Team and Clinical Managers Group
  • Maintaining awareness and knowledge of current issues in children's mental health, both challenges and opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a clinical field (Master of Social Work, clinical concentration)
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in the child and youth mental health sector and 5 years in management
  • Experience conducting and supervising evidence-based and evidence-informed individual, group, and family therapy
  • Deep understanding of child welfare, education, and the health sector
  • Ability to lead change management and exercise good judgment in making decisions
  • High emotional intelligence and integrity
