Valuations Associate, Global Fund Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Valuations Associate to join our Global Fund Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the valuation process for our Real Estate portfolio in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and execute the valuation process for the Real Estate portfolio, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Work closely with third-party appraisers and external asset managers to manage and execute on valuation processes within required timelines.
- Review and analyze property appraisals, understanding key drivers and application of appraisal methodology.
- Manage key relationships with appraisal firms and related internal and external stakeholders.
- Collect and coordinate data for submission to benchmark service providers.
- Develop a deep understanding of the portfolio and perform robust portfolio analytics and reporting.
- Assist with performance attribution and forecasting.
- Assist with internal and external reporting.
- We are looking for a team-oriented and passionate individual with a proven record of completing tasks with high-quality results.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and multi-tasking skills are essential.
- A Finance or Business degree, CFA or CAIA designation, or working towards a designation is required.
- 5-7 years of related experience is preferred, including knowledge of the Canadian commercial real estate market and appraisals.
- An AACI designation would be an asset.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office/Excel, Argus, and/or Yardi would be an asset.
