Firestopping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Firestopping Specialist to join our team at CALWEST CAULKING LTD. in a dynamic and challenging role.

Overview

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Select the appropriate type of insulation required for each project.
• Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Apply and secure insulation using various application and installation methods.
• Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.
• Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed.
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, and mold and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Candidates must be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.

Experience and Specialization:

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in firestopping and insulation. Prior experience in similar roles or related fields is an asset.
