Fireproofing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fireproofing Specialist to join our team at CALWEST CAULKING LTD. The ideal candidate will have experience in firestopping and fireproofing, with a strong understanding of insulation materials and application methods.

Responsibilities:

• Select the appropriate type of insulation required for each project
• Measure and cut insulating materials to the correct shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
• Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and more
• Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
• Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, and mold and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings

Requirements:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Ability to work on-site, with no option to work remotely

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to heights, confined spaces, and hazardous materials.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
