The Role

As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and executing high-quality repairs. This role requires a strong understanding of bodywork repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. You will also be expected to utilize various tools and equipment, such as welding and frame machines, to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess vehicle damage to determine the most appropriate repair methods.
  • Perform bodywork repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, priming, and masking.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician.
  • Completion of an Auto Body Collision Repair program or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting repair estimates and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Benefits

As a valued member of our team, you can expect:

  • Hourly rate from $28.00 to $40.00 depending on experience.
  • Benefits: Extended health, dental, and short-term and long-term disability.

Schedule

This role is for an 8-hour shift, Monday to Thursday (8 am - 5:30 pm) and Friday (8 am - 4:30 pm).
