Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solid Waste Engineer to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. as a Project Quality Assurance Specialist.

This role involves assisting Project Managers with planning and implementing detailed design and permitting projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, ensuring quality of services and client satisfaction, and project profitability.

The ideal candidate will have four years plus of experience in consulting engineering, knowledge of current solid waste regulations in British Columbia, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with project planning and implementation
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, legal counsel, regulatory agency personnel, and other parties
  • Conduct site visits, drilling, and remedial contractor oversight and/or construction oversight
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current solid waste regulations in British Columbia
Requirements
  • Four years plus of experience in consulting engineering
  • Knowledge of current solid waste regulations in British Columbia
  • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software packages
  • Exceptional report writing and verbal communication skills
  • Project coordination and management experience
