Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solid Waste Engineer to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. as a Project Quality Assurance Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting engineering and a passion for creating positive change. As a key member of our team, you will assist Project Managers with planning and implementing detailed design and permitting projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, ensuring quality of services and client satisfaction, and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, legal counsel, regulatory agency personnel, and other parties to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Conduct site visits, collect samples, and oversee remedial contractor activities as required.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current solid waste regulations in British Columbia and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software packages to design and manage projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure project coordination and management best practices are followed.
Requirements
  • Four years plus of experience in consulting engineering.
  • Knowledge of current solid waste regulations in British Columbia.
  • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software packages.
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Project coordination and management experience.
