Key Responsibilities

This Operations Manager position requires a seasoned metal manufacturing leader to oversee program management, customer relations, purchasing, estimating, and serve as the General Manager's right-hand person. Core duties involve:
  1. Managing programs from inception to completion, including launch, change management, and program closure.
  2. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to meet their needs and expectations.
  3. Driving organizational change and contributing to business growth and profitability.
  4. Ensuring accurate material ordering and timely delivery of critical materials for project success.
  5. Providing estimating support during peak periods or staff absences.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:
  • Leadership experience in machining and metalworking industries.
  • Strong program management skills and excellent communication with customers.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, outstanding organization and leadership abilities, and a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and listen.
  • Executive leadership experience in a fast-paced, project-based manufacturing environment with multiple complex customer relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of strategic planning, operational excellence, lean manufacturing, finance, governance, and performance management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and creativity in solving organizational challenges.
