Family Medicine Physician Opportunity on Salt Spring Island

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Island Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-run clinic on Salt Spring Island, providing high-quality patient care in a rural setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to patients in a clinic setting
- Participate in acute care services at the Lady Minto Hospital, including ER coverage and in-patient care
- Provide care to patients in residential care facilities
- Share ER call with other physicians, with a typical commitment of 3-5 12-hour shifts per month
- May be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA)
- Recruitment Incentive: up to $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
- Relocation: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Flat fee: $9,000
- Fee Premium: 7.98%
- CME: $2,000/annum (years 3-4) and $4,000/annum (after 4 years in the community)
