Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at Forest Protection Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, supporting financial planning and analysis, and acting as a collaborative business partner in finance matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
  • Accounting and Financial Management: Oversee the Accounting department, including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, cashflow management, financial reporting, sales tax, and benefits administration.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • External Audits: Ensure that the annual external audit is completed in a timely manner and that auditors' recommendations are implemented accordingly.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide direction, oversight, and mentoring to the Accounting team, and participate in special projects related to organizational growth or adaptability.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years post-designation experience, including 2+ years in a management role.
  • Skills: Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, and demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of business acumen.
