Job Description
We are seeking an experienced therapist to provide work-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and other psychotherapy treatment for employees who have left work due to short-term or long-term disability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly one-on-one therapy sessions with clients to identify medical and non-medical issues affecting their work capacity
- Develop personalized treatment plans to improve clients' ability to manage issues and return to work
- Communicate regularly with Homewood Health clinical staff via standardized reporting and written documentation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Registration and authorization to practice psychotherapy in your province of practice
- 3-5 years or more of experience in return-to-work focused clinical counseling
- Proficiency in CBT techniques and experience working with clients on short-term/long-term disability
- Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
