About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our team at Signify Health Ireland. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic technology solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and standards to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, including infrastructure, applications, and data architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that drive business value
  • Conduct buy vs. build analyses to determine the most effective approach for delivering technology solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams on architecture design, implementation, and testing
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures for applications and infrastructure
  • Participate in architecture design reviews and provide feedback on design changes
  • Actively engage with the architecture community to drive modernization opportunities and advance technology
  • Develop and enforce architecture standards across multiple IT disciplines
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in design/development, with a strong background in cloud architecture and implementation
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • SME-level understanding of cloud design and architecture for large-scale distributed solutions
  • SME-level technical skills in application and integration architecture, security, and automation
  • SME-level understanding of APIs and microservices-based architecture
  • Domain Driven Design experience, with the ability to map domain scope to Bounded Contexts/Microservices
  • Experience working with technologies that integrate modern applications with legacy infrastructure, leveraging streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
  • Experience with enterprise development tools and methodologies (XP, Agile) including DevOps
  • Hands-on technologists with coding skills and proficient in modern technology stacks (Cloud, DevOps, Kafka, etc.)
  • Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies, as well as Cloud database technologies
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
