At Can-Tech Services, we are seeking an exceptional Hangar Operations Director to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and project management skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a heavy maintenance or MRO environment. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of management experience, valid Transport Canada A.M.E certification, and prior experience with Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Project Supervisors, Hangar Support Supervisors, and other relevant Leads/Supervisors, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including cost targets, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and direction to Project Supervisors, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects successfully.
  • Ensure all staff are compliant with company policies and procedures, as well as Transport Canada regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years' related experience, with 5 years of management experience.
  • Valid Transport Canada A.M.E certification.
  • Prior experience in a heavy maintenance or MRO environment, preferably with Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
