Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at ATI TRUCK REPAIR LTD. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, as well as maintaining and performing minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts together
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
  • Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding or a related field
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to sit for extended periods
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
