Dental Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Support Specialist to join our team at the Golf Dental Clinic. As a key member of our dental support staff, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, maintaining dental instruments and equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position with an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You can expect to work 30-40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care and treatment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and health
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Take and develop X-rays
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a dental setting
- Certificate or diploma from a recognized college or CEGEP
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
