Job Summary:

The Community Mental Health Worker 1 will work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Team, providing life skills and general support to clients living in their own housing. This role will involve working with clients who have severe mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders, providing services within a psychosocial rehabilitation and harm reduction framework.

The successful candidate will engage clients in various community settings, promoting their full potential and collaboration in service planning, delivery, and evaluation. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Scheduling Information:

Shifts will be from 08:30 to 16:30, 17:30 to 21:30 hours. This is a casual opportunity, with no guaranteed hours and varying work requirements.
