Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Richmond Elevator Maintenance Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, components, and equipment for our manufacturing and processing industry clients. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems.
  • Design power plants, machines, and equipment using CAD software.
  • Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.
  • Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in mechanical design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
