Calgary, Alberta, Canada Triovest Full time

Triovest is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team in Calgary. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing invoices related to development, property taxes, and utilities. Your key responsibilities will include uploading and processing invoices into our accounting system, ensuring accurate coding, and obtaining timely approvals. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining an organized AP filing system and addressing issues with external vendors and internal departments to minimize late fees on payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices for development, property taxes, and utilities in our accounting system.
  • Ensure accurate coding and obtain timely approvals for invoice processing.
  • Maintain an organized AP filing system for efficient record-keeping.
  • Address and resolve issues with external vendors and internal departments to minimize late fees on payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least one year of accounts payable experience.
  • Previous experience in Commercial Real Estate and/or Property Management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Yardi is considered a valuable asset.
  • Experience in processing utility and telecom invoices would also be considered an asset.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Thorough understanding of the invoice approval process and its application to Accounts Payable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extraordinary team player and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven with the capacity to get things done.

  • Effective time management and organization skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
