Job Title: Barber

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Manotick Barber Shop. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services to our clients.

Job Description:Work Environment:

Our Barber Shop is a fast-paced environment where you will work with a team of experienced Barbers to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze hair and scalp conditions to determine the best course of action for each client.
  • Cut and trim hair according to client preferences or instructions.
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatments, including shampoos, conditioners, and styling products.
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
  • Apply hair extensions and clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client physical features and preferences.
Requirements:
  • Barbering Trade Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy equipment.
