Job Title: Barber

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber to join our team at Manotick Barber Shop. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze hair and scalp conditions to determine the best course of treatment
  • Cut and trim hair according to clients' instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatments, including shampoos and conditioners
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions and clean and style wigs and hair pieces
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
  • Suggest hairstyles compatible with clients' physical features and preferences
Requirements:
  • Barbering Trade Certification
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
